NASHiCS  recognise that at this time of unprecedented challenges and changes to our normal routines, it is essential to be able to access information & up to date guidance. We therefore point you to the official web-site links as shown below.

Events for 2020/1 – dates for your diary.

For your information we have reviewed our event offerings for the rest of this year,  meaning a number of changes comply with the ” Government Safety Measures”

Regrettably the Forum has been rescheduled again.
Same location and same programme.

****Forum Lancashire has now been scheduled for Tuesday 16th March 2021, so delegate bookings and exhibitor bookings will be transferable. Bookings are Open

***Networker London (No charge) on  25th November 2020 supported by
DAC Beachcroft LLP.

More will be provided as these new style arrangements are fully developed.
All will be open for Non members.

There is a wealth of information on the Covid-19 pandemic issued by the four countries of the UK.
To date NASHiCS published below  items mainly concerning Health & Safety in the Care sector.
However the pace of the change to the instructions issued by the 4 countries of the United kingdom coupled with the Covid-19 virus restrictions being eased make tracking somewhat difficult to keep up to date.

We have therefore decided to revamp the publication of the various announcements to ensure that access to the information is easier and up to date.

Covid-19 infection rises: letter to care providers from Director of Adult Social Care Delivery.

A request for action on testing and PPE in all care settings.


You will know already that we are experiencing a rise in confirmed COVID-19 cases, across the UK population.
I need to alert you to the first signs this rise is being reflected in care homes too.


Over the past three days, Public Health England (PHE) has reported an increase in notifications of COVID-19 cases in care homes.

Heatwave Plan for England 2020.

HSE Safety Alert issued. Use of face masks designated KN95 also known as filtering facepiece respirators.

HSE has issued a Safety alert about the poor quality of
face masks claiming to be KN95.
